MEMBERSHIP : HOW TO JOIN

Associate Membership £15 per annum

a) Designer-Makers

Designed & Made is committed to the nurturing and inclusion of new and innovative talent. Associate Membership offers a reduced subscription to encourage those newly set-up in business to become part of this professional organisation.

Membership is open, though it is expected that applicants will be fully committed to the aims of Designed & Made and share its aspirations. Associate Members are included in all networking and standard Member services and may apply over time to become Professional Members.

This category also includes designer-makers with links to the North East who may currently be practising in another region.

b) Associated Professionals/Education Establishments/Creative Businesses

We warmly welcome Associate/Corporate Members from other professions who support our aims and share our ambitions for a strengthened community of outstanding designer-makers in the North East.

Designer-makers applying for Associate Membership must submit a CV, artist’s statement and images of recent work.

Associate Members are not automatically eligible for inclusion in Designed & Made showcases and special projects although, from time to time, external curators appointed by Designed & Made may wish to include in their exhibitions work by Associate Members.
