Bettina Nissen Design
Designer/Maker

Born in Germany in 1978, Bettina Nissen has earned her MA in Interior and Furniture Design at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and studied at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Her designs have been exhibited internationally in Milan, Berlin, the UK and she recently worked for Boym Partners in New York and Cohda Design in Newcastle.

Currently based at the Mushroom Works in Newcastle, Bettina Nissen designs for both limited edition as well as manufacture, and works with local fabricators to produce designs in diverse materials such as felt, plastics and metal. These products range from furniture and home accessories to lighting and jewelry items.
