MISSION | AIMS & OBJECTIVES

 

Our mission is to:

promote the best work of North East designer-makers to a national and international audience;

establish initiatives to support the long-term creative and business development of our Membership;

foster emerging talent and encourage innovation.

We are working towards this by:

supporting the North East designer-maker community through our Membership network and services;

harnessing the creative skills and energy of our Members through imaginative showcase events, international connections and exchanges;

encouraging awareness of eco-design and new technology;

collaborating across art disciplines;

nurturing the vitality and originality of new and emerging talent;

building partnerships with educational bodies, and with cultural organisations in the North East, across the UK and overseas.
