Deliberately moving away from standard approaches to design for household objects, Helena subverts the genre. In her ideal home, objects acquire sinuous forms and a sense of life. Helena works solely in porcelain, shaping it by hand into original forms. The luminosity, hardness and strength of its finish give her pieces a presence of their own. Helena makes original work, as well as working with clients to create unique pieces, from the intimately small to the more imposing. Helena’s work is sold both privately and through local galleries.
